From humble beginnings it has progressed to what is now widely considered to be one of the best organised and most popular regular Set Dancing venues in the country, attracting cross-community patrons from all over Ireland, north and south, as well as international visitors.  Sets Ceilís are held on the First Friday of every month, and music is provided by all the top Ceilí Bands in Ireland.  Among the functions organised by the Ceili Club are the annual Sets competitions, held in October, and the Workshop which takes place in June.   These are extremely popular events, and the Workshops feature some of the most renowned tutors in Ireland - such as Pat Murphy and Mick Mulkerrin!
